The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a winter storm warning for Central and Western Chippewa as of 4:12 AM on January 10th. They predict heavy lake effect snow, hazardous road conditions, and extreme cold. As such, the Township administrative office will be closed until January 11th. If possible, we recommend Kinross residents stay home and off the roads in order to avoid dangerous conditions.
