Surcharge
(This
proposal will permit the County to increase the monthly charge on
landline, wireless, and voice-over-internet protocol service users
within the County to provide funding for 9-1-1 Emergency dispatching
services within the County)
Shall
the County of Chippewa, Michigan, be authorized to increase the charge
on all landline, wireless, and voice over internet protocol service
users located in Chippewa County to an amount not greater than $2.75 per
month, to be used exclusively for the funding of 9-1-1 emergency
telephone call answering and dispatch services within Chippewa County,
including facilities, equipment, maintenance, and operating costs?

MILLAGE REQUEST-RENEWAL
Shall
the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan
Constitution on all taxable real and tangible personal property in
Kinross Charter Township, Chippewa County Michigan be increased in an
amount not to exceed 2 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a
period of four years, being 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, inclusive, for
the purpose of operating, equipping, purchasing, and making capital
expenditures for Kinross Charter Township Emergency Medical Services;
and shall the Township levy such millage for said purpose, thereby
raising an estimated $94,500.00 in the first year?
