The Township's rustic campground, RV West, is located at the north side of the Community Park. Water and electric hook-ups are available at each campsite. You can speak to our campground hosts by calling 906-495-3023.
The Community Park has public access to Kinross Lake (by means of a walk-way tunnel under M-80) where you can fish from shore or launch your non-motorized boat to explore further away from the shoreline.
The 4H Building (pictured at left) is available for rental for family reunions, wedding receptions, etc. from May through September. If you are looking for a rural, rustic setting this location is worth considering. Contact the Township Administrative offices at 906-495-5381 x101 for more information.
The Park is the home of the Sault Area Race Association's stock car races on Friday nights. The 1/4 mile asphalt track is billed as "the fastest 1/4 mile in the Eastern UP". You can get more information at S.A.R.A.'s website.
Late August until early September, the Park is the site of the week long Chippewa County Fair. With carnival rides, "fair food", and a wide variety of grandstand events the grounds are the hub of activity in Chippewa County.
